LES 13 DESSERTS NOËL

The intensity of sweetness heightens the Christmas spirit. Bizu introduces “Les 13 Desserts Noël”- thirteen decadent desserts to represent an age-old Christmas tradition in Provence where sweets are laid on the table to end the celebratory dinner.

Quite symbolic, the number thirteen represents Jesus and his twelve apostles. With a play on tradition, Bizu brings an assortment of nuts, dried fruits, nougats, and brioche- simple yet delectable desserts to sweeten the season. Also among these are mendiants- chocolate disks with dried fruits and nuts atop. Interestingly, the treats atop the mendiants symbolize the four monastic orders and the color of their robes- raisins for Dominicans, hazel nuts for Augustinians, dried figs for Franciscans and almonds for the Carmelites.

Include Bizu in your gift list and see why nothing less than the sweetest impressions last. Bizu is located in Greenbelt 2, Glorietta 4 and Alabang Towncenter. Soon to open in Greenhills, The Promenade.
